Vegan Lifestyle and Emotional Well-Being Study

SURVEY NOW CLOSED (April 18, 2022)

Thank you so much to all who participated in my vegan research survey over the past year.

I’m a licensed psychologist and a certified vegan lifestyle coach and educator.  I’m passionate about helping people move toward a vegan lifestyle, for their own health and well-being, as well as caring for all sentient beings and the planet.

What is the study about?  I’m interested in understanding more about the emotional, social, and spiritual impacts of living a vegan lifestyle, as part of my research for writing a book on this topic.  This topic deeply fascinates me, from the way that plant-powered nutrition nourishes the body and brain, to the way that vegan values nourish the heart and soul.

While society often views veganism as a lifestyle of restriction and deprivation, the experience of many vegans is one of abundance and fulfillment.  Many vegans describe an inner transformation as they move into a vegan lifestyle.

And at the same time, there can also be emotional and social challenges that come with being vegans in a non-vegan world.

My hope is that the findings from this research will support vegans to live with even more purpose and fulfillment, and will inspire pre-vegans to step forward on to this compassionate and life-affirming path.

The survey will be open through March 31 is now closed as of 4/18/22.

Follow-up interviews:  I am conducting follow-up interviews with a select number of participants.  If you are willing to be contacted for this, you are invited to include your contact information (first name and email address).  The decision to include your contact information for a potential follow-up interview is entirely voluntary.
